Simupedia project |
|
The idea of the Simupedia project (initiated by IBPSA-Germany and IBPSA-USA) is the joint development of an online guidebook on building simulation (open to all). Simupedia explains, why simulations are relevant for sustainable concepts in energy efficient building design. The platform shall be applicable to increase the awareness, to show customers the added value that simulation provides, which type of simulation is adequate for certain planning tasks, it shall give practical advise about benefits and limitations, and explain why simulation supported engineering is superior to traditional instruments. The knowledge is provided at two levels, an expert level for simulationists, and a basic level. We are just at the beginning – and we need volunteers to contribute! |
